I bet few people will actually read these words... Social skills were never my strong point. Even as a child. I'm a sucker for guitars [especially acoustic] and pianos. The ability to play both and/or sing are bonus points, since I have no talent of my own to actually speak of. My thoughts seem convoluted, even to myself. You could probably read me like an open book, or maybe not. I hope you have the ability to look me in the eye and tell me what you really think because no matter how small, I'll listen. I can't look someone in the eye when I speak, truth or lie, but trust me when I say something. I know I am messed up. Your secrets are safe. I tend to forget easily and will rarely harbour a grudge for long. I have a slightly depressive nature and I don't easily adjust. I believe we are failing. Our society is a depressing one to behold. Romance only died because people don't even try anymore. Fuck what you see on TV and films. Fuck the radio and thoughtless lyrics. Life isn't about how much money one can obtain in one lifetime or how cool and popular you were in highschool. Life is about living it to its fullest, learning and advancing. When we realize what's wrong in the world and try to fix it, then and only then are we truly living. When we put wars aside and settle on compromises, then we are learning and advancing. Wars have never helped out our causes. Most people on this Earth are weak. It's not about lifting 700 pounds without breaking a sweat. True strength is the ability to take away one's life and all possessions, but not doing it. I may have a small gift for saying certain things at certain times, but I bet few even care all that much. My words may not be lyrical. They may even be harsh and abrasive, but the mind is always put to the test when simple words can invoke feelings of anger, revelation and awe. I am not a great poet, nor am I a great writer, I am quiet, overanalyzing and crazy. What could I possibly say to you? The world needs change. Are you ready to make it?
